CHESS RAMBLING NOT A DAILY BLOG
I got the feeling that these two have played before and that Black may already have know White's tendencies from previous play.Instead of 11...BxN, h6 may be possible, with the aim to grab some initiative.I don't like 12...Nf6, why not f6?15. I don't think it's a bad idea for white to play BxN and trade off queens here, or at least I would at first glance. White still has something positive to play for after that. But even if he doesn't exchange, White should still have an advantage here, IMHO.
Also, it seems White was making too big a deal out of the f-file later on as Black basically had that one covered. Tell him to look at other files, not simply the open one. ;-)
It is a pity that black played a bit passively at the beginning. White's position was much more preferable until the blunder.
